SMIC receives ASE Group's Sustainability Award in recognition of the following environment-friendly company activities, including product development. On March 22, 2018, we were presented our trophy in the Best Supplier Award Ceremony.

Company activities toward environmental preservation

Product development: Development of environment-friendly products that are lead-free and halogen-free
Materials provision: Promotion of conflict mineral-free products to observe the Dodd-Frank Act
Environmental preservation activities: Regular cleaning and tree planting in the areas surrounding SMIC's Japan Headquarters and plants both inside and outside of Japan
