We would like to express our sincerest sympathy to all those who suffered the effects of heavy rains in the Western Japan region starting on Friday, June 6.

We have confirmed that none of our employees were injured, none of our facilities or buildings were damaged, and none of our production activities were obstructed in any of the manufacturing and sales sites of SMIC in the Western Japan area.
